Whilst SPC has gained widespread acclaim as a powerful tool in the manufacturing environment, the benefits have been largely overlooked by service companies, the public sector and even the administrative areas of manufacturing.

Catalyst provide training workshops and facilitation to help organisations understand the potential of SPC and how to put the technique into place, by demonstrating that:

  • SPC is simple to use and very appropriate to a whole range of activities outside of its traditional manufacturing base.
  • SPC is a measurement tool to help you improve decision making and better understand, manage and improve your processes.
  • SPC enables you to make sense of a mass (or even a mess) of figures and data by helping you identify 'common cause' and 'special cause' variation
